In an effort to always keep our clients informed and prepared, here’s the latest postage rate update: starting Sunday, July 14, 2024, the USPS is rolling out new postage rates.

Here’s the scoop:

• The average postage is going up by $0.05.
• Sending a first-class letter will cost an extra $0.05.
• Flats will see an increase of $0.110 for the first ounce.

Looking ahead to 2025, it’s wise to plan for another round of increases. We recommend budgeting for an average increase of 3% in January and a 6% increase in July. Keep in mind that January’s increases are tied to changes in the Consumer Price Index (CPI), while July’s adjustments also consider factors like density and retirement costs.
